Formed in 2020, Backyardfooty created a charity foundation , "FootysGotYou", that originally aimed at ameliorating the lives of Charlotteans to now expanding to California where its partnered with Salinas soccer 831, a non profit organization located in Salinas, California to help raise money throughout this 2022 season for their community.

In the foundations initial year, we partnered with "Block Love", a non profit organization in Charlotte, North Carolina who helps the homeless community in the city, and were able to raise close to 4k in revenue through donations throughout the season. All of the funds were donated and we were able to host multiple dinners throughout the summer for the homeless, including a winter clothes drive that helped most stay warm during a cold winter.

Last year in 2021, thanks to the Qc Royals, a charlotte futbol supporters group and a local Food Lion, we were able to host dinners for Block love twice a month for the full year with different variations of meals throughout. A monumental year that not only allowed us to help impact the community on a consistent basis but we were able to raise close to 2k in revenue that contributed to another winter clothes drive for the homeless in uptown Charlotte.

In 2022, Starting in January, the foundation sponsored dinner for Block Love every last Thursday of each month. Providing food for the homeless consistently on a monthly basis. The foundation also partnered with Salinas Soccer 831, which provides access to sport education and educational enrichment opportunities,  removing the socioeconomic and cultural barriers that prevent children in at-risk communities from participating due to cost. Starting in July, we've raised money every game towards their organization. $20/game, $20/win, $10/goal, raising $2500 in total funds. In 2023 we BackYardFooty’s Charity Foundation, Footy’s Got You, is thrilled to announce its first annual Monterey County Winter Clothing Drive! We are partnering with Enza Zaden Americas , an agriculture company based in Salinas, CA, to host a yearly drive for communities in need in Monterey County! We are grateful to Enza Zaden, who has pledged to support Footy’s Got You donating $3,000, and we look forward to working together on future projects.

With Enza’s help, we were able to help over 200+ families receive
new clothes, food and essentials!

Using our platform we hope to raise enough funds to effect both communities here in Salinas and in Charlotte! With rising costs of living and inflation rising, homelessness is on the rise and people are in constant need. Any dollar can go a long way.
